Introduction
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is a unique dining experience at Disney World. The restaurant transports guests back to the 1950s with its retro movie theater design and classic films playing on screen. You'll have a fun time eating in a car while watching clips of sci-fi films projected on the walls around you!

This restaurant is a fun way to enjoy a meal with your family and friends! The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant features an assortment of classic films projected onto the screen, plus live entertainment by movie robots!
You can order appetizers such as potato skins or nachos; entrees like steak tips with barbecue sauce or grilled chicken breast nuggets; and desserts such as chocolate cake served warm with ice cream or deep fried twinkies (yum!). There are vegetarian options as well including fried green tomatoes or vegetarian chili over pasta
What is the price range for meals at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant?
The price range for meals at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant varies between $23.99 and $29.99, which is a little on the expensive side. However, if you're already planning to spend a few days at Disney World with your family, it's not an outrageous expense compared to other options like spending money on souvenirs or eating out multiple times in one day. You can save money by bringing your own soda instead of buying it there (and let's be honest—it tastes better!).
Also keep in mind that this is just one meal out of many while you're at Disney World; so if you want to splurge on something special, go ahead! The experience will be memorable enough that no one will think less of you for spending more than usual on this dining experience.
Do I need reservations for Sci-Fi?
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant generally operates with a majority of patrons having a reservation - but it's not always required. Reservations can be made in the My Disney Experience app (if you're staying onsite) or by calling Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.

You'll have an out of this world time at this unique dine-in theater experience!
What you're getting yourself into:
You'll have an out of this world time at this unique dine-in theater experience! This restaurant has a neat ambiance, with a fun jukebox that plays old sci-fi movie music and plenty of crazy campy decor like robots and flying saucers. The food is good, but not great. Instead, I recommend going for one of the novelty drinks they offer (I had the Green Monster).
This place gets bonus points from me because it's located right next to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios park, so we stopped here after riding Star Tours and seeing Toy Story Midway Mania! You can't beat that for a fun day of theme park rides followed by dinner in your spaceship car. If you're looking for something different when it comes to dining at Disney World then put Sci-Fi Dine In on your list!
