Perfect Day at CocoCay: Our Bucket List

Every major cruise line boasts at least one private island. For some cruisers, the destinations and ports play a large role in determining what cruise and what itinerary they will choose for that perfect vacation. When RCCL announced the Perfect Day Island Collection, a series of private island destinations around the world, we at YoPro started to count down the days until we get to check out the first island, CocoCay! With our journey on the Mariner of the Seas just days away, here is a list of things we are excited to explore during our stop at CocoCay.

1. Splashaway Bay (complimentary) - Think of the Splash zone on your RC ships, but WAY WAY WAY bigger! This is an area designed with junior cruisers in mind but is definitely a great area for the entire family. Water buckets, water slides, oh my!

2. Captain Jill’s Galleon (complimentary) - This is another area designed for the junior cruisers. But since the description included the phrase "multi-level pirates ship," you can bet that Donnie and I will battle it out with the water canons.

3. Oasis Lagoon (complimentary) - This is the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean. I will be spending some quality time here with my book and my oversize hat.

4. Chill Island (complimentary) - Bahamas = beach bound.

5. Captain Jack's (extra cost) - You can find us sipping on Coco Loco while sitting on a rope swing seat.

6. Thrill Waterpark (extra cost) - 13 water slides, need we say more?

7. Zipline (extra cost) - You can choose between a dry landing onshore or a water landing in the harbor.

Keep in mind that if you purchase the drink package or Voom internet package for your cruise, you will be able to enjoy both while on the island. We can't wait to check our CocoCay this weekend and report back with all the photos and videos!
